Tecnovap plays its new cards and celebrates 25 years of steam technology

On the 24th and 25th of September, in a partying atmosphere, an international meeting dedicated to dealers has taken place in Pescantina, the event has been arranged by Tecnovap, a local worldwide leader in the production of steam generators for ecologic cleaning.

The President Giuliano Franchini, has retraced the milestones of the 25 years of the company history, starting from the 80’s, passing through the technical evolutions which have allowed Tecnovap to enter new markets. In 1988 - he reminded “we have manufactured the first steam generator able to remove wall papers, a unit which substituted the previous gas models, and in 1989 we entered the hair stylists market  fully satisfying their needs. In 1990 we made our debut at Pulire Exhibition, enlarging our market and continuing capturing new sectors thanks to the innovation of our technology”. Hence, by following this philosophy, in 2004 the first Stainless Steel Line for food industry is born, and in 2009 the “steam and self carwash” is born in the name of efficiency and energy conservation.

During the meeting, also the latest Tecnovap news has been introduced: “Steam Pressure” (Patent), an innovative steam generator for the industrial sector which combines the power of steam to the mechanic action of water at high temperature. A powerful ally against dirt, able to combine pressurized steam (10 bar) at 180° with high pressure water (150 bar) at 2/4 l/m, thanks to the practical gun realized to overcome the dirt nestled on various surfaces.
The main features of the product, which have been covered by Tecnovap patents, have been shown to the customers. After that, the results of some tests carried out with a specialized laboratory, in particular with Doctor Seride Meloni have been disclosed; these tests demonstrate the potentiality of the new ecologic cleaning system with low water consumption from a scientific point of view.

Subsequently, the on-site demo on machineries related to the food sector confirmed the high efficiency of the new system and of the new tools, which have been especially designed and manufactured by the same company.

The technical discussion continued with the interventions of the distributors from Sweden, Australia, England and Spain who explained to the participants the special applications developed in their own using Tecnovap technology and components, in a very unusual but fruitful exchange of synergies.
The participants went through several successful case histories in different application fields: in particular those ones related to the Bacchus oenological system (special machines for the sanification of the bottling lines and of the barrels and for the maintenance of the humidity rate in the wine cellars) and the case of the company DeLaval (special machine to sterilize part of their milking system). It has been very interesting as well to check the results of a new system installed in the Vapor Village area; the ecologic car cleaning with steam (which has been tested by the University of Verona) resulted very effective in the cleaning performances (with excellent results for both interiors and exteriors) as well as in health protection with its certified efficiency in preventing and treating the allergies. A very important additional value is the decreasing of the managing costs: as a matter of fact Vapor Village doesn’t need any water recovery system, besides, thanks to the steam, a really low quantity of water is needed in the cleaning process.

Then Franchini illustrated the production situation of the company, characterized by a high increase of orders and turnover which has passed 80% during the last twelve months. This growth is because of the high quality of the products commercialized at competitive prices, the continuous technological evolution, the investments, the diversification of the products into various sectors and the continuous research of new markets. Currently Tecnovap exports to more than 53 countries in all five continents with a 2010 turnover forecast of approximately seven million Euro with an increase of more than 75% in comparison to 2009.

In the evening during a convivial dinner in an enchanting scenario, in the presence of the Vice Mayor of Pescantina Maurizio Galvanini, the new operative structure in Settimo di Pescantina (in Via Bernardi 14, about 4km from the headquarter) has been inaugurated and during the final toast the best worldwide and national distributors where awarded. At the end of the evening the President Giuliano Franchini wanted to conclude with a note of optimism wishing everyone another 25 years of success with Tecnovap’s steam.
